Dear Gary,
I hope you’re doing well.
I’m doing fine, though my life is quite hectic at the moment because, as you know, I’m moving abroad and there’s so much to do!
There are a few things I can’t take with me because they’re too big, so I’m seeing if any of my friends are interested in buying them. One of the items I don’t want to take with me is my television, and I thought you might like to buy it from me at a cheap price.
It’s a 32” flat-screen TV, and it’s a Philips model. It has a USB port, so you can easily plug in a thumb drive to watch movies or listen to music. It also has great stereo surround sound.
As you know, I’m leaving the country at the end of the month, which is just two weeks away. If you’d like to check it out, it would be best to come by on the 20th or 21st. That will give me time to sell it elsewhere if you’re not interested.
