Example Letter

Dear Philip,

I am just writing to tell you about the marvelous holiday we had. We went on a camping trip to the south of France, and the weather was wonderful.

The tent we stayed in was very comfortable. It had a cooker, a fridge, and a TV.

We were in the heart of the French countryside, and some of the views were breathtaking. The campsite itself was impressive—it was well-organized, and the staff were very helpful.

There was lots to do, and although I’m not a very active person, I enjoyed swimming and playing tennis. All in all, it was a very enjoyable holiday. You should go if you get the chance. I can send you the brochure if you like.

Well, that’s all for now. Please write soon.

Love,
Linda
