Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to english-task.com (“English Task”, “the site”, “we”, “us”). English Task is operated by Oleh Deminov, an individual based in Ukraine. By using the site, creating an account or buying anything on it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

English Task is an online platform for learning and teaching English. It includes interactive exercises and listening tasks, games, teacher tools that you can fill with your own words and play in class – cubes, wheels, bingo, flashcards, matching pairs and more – and printable worksheets.

Most of the site is free and works without an account. English Task Premium is an optional paid subscription that adds:

• no ads on any page;
• every paid worksheet pack, for as long as the subscription runs;
• whole worksheet collections as one zip download, with the answer keys inside.

We may also sell individual worksheet packs as one-off purchases. You can also buy a Premium gift code – one payment for a month or a year of Premium for someone else. The code is sent to you by email; whoever you give it to enters it on the site, and the gift does not renew automatically. Everything that is free on the site stays free.

2. Accounts

You need an account to subscribe to Premium and to keep your own games and results. You can sign up with an email address or with Google. Keep your login details safe – you are responsible for what is done through your account.

Accounts, purchases and comments are for adults – teachers, parents and learners aged 16 or over. Children can use the exercises without an account, with a teacher or parent.

3. Prices and payment

Current prices are shown on the Premium page and on the page of each paid pack.

Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), operated by Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia. Creem is the merchant of record for all our orders: it sells the products to you as our reseller, takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT that applies in your country and sends you the receipt.

4. Renewal and cancelling

Premium is paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on the Premium page or in the Creem customer portal – the link is in your receipt email. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and no further payments are taken.

If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first. If a renewal payment fails, Creem may try again; if it still fails, Premium ends with the paid period.

5. Refunds

Worksheet packs and other paid files are digital content that you get right after payment. When you buy, you ask us to make the files available straight away and agree that once you download them the purchase can no longer be cancelled or refunded. Until you download anything, you can get a full refund within 14 days.

The same rule applies to Premium: you can get a full refund within 14 days of your first Premium payment if you have not downloaded any paid pack or collection archive with it. The details are in our Refund Policy.

6. Using the materials

The exercises, worksheets, recordings, images and other materials on English Task are protected by copyright. Some were made by other authors and remain theirs – the same rules apply to them.

You may use the materials for your own learning and for teaching: in class, in online lessons and for homework, including printing and copying them for your students. You may not resell them, publish paid files where anyone can download them, upload them to other websites or marketplaces, or present them as your own work.

7. Your content

Games you make with our teacher tools, comments and messages you send stay yours. By saving them on the site you allow us to store and show them so that the tools and pages work. Games you publish can be opened by anyone with the link and may appear in the public lists of games made by users. Comments are checked before they appear. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, spam or breaks someone else’s rights.

8. Fair use

• Do not try to break, overload or copy the site with automated tools.
• Do not create accounts automatically or use someone else’s account.
• Do not post spam, advertising or anything unsuitable for children.

9. Changes to the site

We keep the site running and the materials accurate, but the site is provided “as is”, and we may add, change or remove exercises and features. If something that is a main part of Premium is removed while you have a paid period, you can ask for a refund for the unused time.

10. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for problems caused by events outside our control, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

11. Closing an account

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date below shows the current version. If a change affects Premium subscribers, we will email them before it applies.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
