Letter Writing in English

Most letters go wrong in the same few places: the tone does not fit the reader, the letter starts with Dear Sir or Madam and ends with Yours sincerely, or a small slip like I look forward to hear from you spoils a good paragraph. The six interactive tasks here train exactly those things – sorting formal and informal phrases, choosing greetings and sign-offs, putting a letter together, completing set phrases, correcting mistakes and fixing an email written in the wrong register.
