Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of articles are published here?
Three kinds. Model essays on common school and exam topics such as London, travelling, seasons and future plans. Grammar explainers that take one point, for example tag questions, and show how it works with examples. And lesson ideas for teachers, including movement lessons, action songs and seasonal cartoon lists.
Can students use the model essays as their own work?
They are written as models, not as ready homework. Read one to see how the topic is opened, developed and closed, note the linking words and useful phrases, then write your own version with your own examples. Submitting a copied text as your own counts as plagiarism at school and in exams.
What level are the articles written for?
The model essays sit around A2 to B1: short paragraphs, common vocabulary and simple linking words, which makes them usable both as reading practice and as writing templates. The teaching articles are written for adults and assume no special methodology background.
Do the articles link to exercises and worksheets?
Many of them do. A grammar article usually ends with links to interactive tasks on the same point, and lesson-idea articles link to the printable worksheets they describe, so you can move from reading to practice without searching the site.
