Mummification Worksheet – Ancient Egypt in English
A reading and listening worksheet on how the ancient Egyptians made mummies. It fits a history or CLIL lesson and, around Halloween, a lesson on mummies that goes beyond costumes. The steps are written in the past simple passive – the brain was removed, the body was washed in water and salt – so the worksheet also works as passive voice practice.
What is in the set

- listen and put the twelve steps of embalming in the correct order;
- eight questions: which organ was left in the body and why, what went into the four jars, what was buried with mummies.
