How to use the Pumpkin Hunt in class

  • Level: A1–A2. The clues use simple Present Simple sentences and Halloween words.
  • On one screen: read a clue together, let the class guess the page and send a pupil to the board to find and click the pumpkin.
  • In teams: each team gets a tablet and races to collect all 13 letters. The first team to read the password wins.
  • Progress stays on this device and browser – no sign-in is needed. The pumpkins are on the pages from 1 October to 2 November.
  • Next step: the password opens the last door of the Haunted House Escape Room – five more puzzles with sounds, a potion and a torch.
