A speaking activity that looks like a real chat on a phone. A new friend sends a voice message with a question – What’s your name? How old are you? What’s the weather like today? – and it plays by itself. Answer out loud in a full sentence, press Next, and the next message comes in.

Students can also tap the microphone and record their answer: it stays in the chat as their own voice message, so they can listen to themselves. Nothing is sent anywhere. Not sure what to say? The light bulb shows an example answer, and the →A button under each message shows its text. There are 12 questions about the student – name, age, grade, classmates, friends, home and the days of the week – right for beginners and young learners.

Leave it if you want an answer.
