Useful Vocabulary

Sample Speaking Part 2 Prompt

Describe a time you had to solve a problem using numbers. You should say:

  • what the problem was
  • how you worked it out
  • how long it took you
  • and explain how you felt about the result

Tips

The examiner is testing your English, not your arithmetic. Say whether you are good with numbers and why, rather than trying to explain a formula.
