About this B2 reading task

A first-person text about a Halloween costume parade, followed by statements to mark true or false. Some statements say the opposite of the text in words the text never uses – underwhelming against incredibly fun – so the answer turns on the writer’s attitude, not on the facts.

That is the B1–B2 reading skill worth practising: telling what a writer thinks from the words they choose.
