About this A2 video task

Seven questions on a short film about Halloween customs, three options each: what children and adults do on the night, what bobbing for apples is and what you use to get the apple out of the water, what jack-o’-lanterns are carved from in America and what the British used – turnips – and whether trick-or-treating is an Irish, American or English tradition.

The film gives the customs and the words for them together, so it works as the input for a lesson rather than only as a test: watch, answer, then talk about which of the customs the class keeps at home.
