David Goes to School – Book Companion

Caught in the Act! – What Is David Doing and What Does the Teacher Say? - Part 6

Choose the best option.

David is running in the hall
David is asking to go to the bathroom again and again
David is pushing the girl
Uh-oh – David is caught in the act! In this two-step game based on David Goes to School, you first look at the scene and choose the sentence that says what David is doing: is he running in the hall, scribbling on his desk, or cleaning it? Choose correctly, and then comes step two: the teacher has something to say! Listen to two audio clips and pick what the teacher is really saying. It's a fun way to practice the present continuous together with classroom commands like "Don't run in the hall!" – the language every young learner hears at school.
