Music is the reason many teenagers keep listening to English outside the classroom, so a video about an artist they already follow is doing half the motivational work before it starts.

The useful language here is biography: past simple for what happened, present perfect for what it has led to, and the vocabulary of a career – release, tour, chart, go viral, break through, sign a deal. Follow it with a short presentation about an artist each student chooses, and the same structures come back in their own sentences.
