Asking follow-up questions
When do you get there. – this is one of the exchanges learners need from the very first lessons. The topic takes one short dialogue and works through it three times.

Asking follow-up questions in English
Start with the gaps: the conversation is on screen with single words missing, and the recording plays as often as you need. Then rebuild the whole dialogue from memory. Finally, use the phrase bank to act it out, swapping in different wording each run.
Suitable for A1–A2. In class it works well in pairs, with students changing roles after each run.
