Create Your Own Memory Game
Memory is the game where every card lies face down and students turn two over at a time, looking for a pair. Build the pairs here: a word and its picture, a question and its answer, a word and its opposite – or a short video and a caption. The same set also plays as a drag-and-drop matching game, so one activity covers both, and you can print the cards to cut out for the same game on the desk.
1. Pick a template, or choose what goes on the cards: text, a picture or a YouTube video.
2. Fill in both cards of every pair – these are the two cards students turn over to find each other.
3. Press Try it to play the Memory game, then give the activity a title and publish it.

The browser's own voice reads the words when students press the speaker.
Tick Sound only on a card to hide its text: students hear the word and look for its match.
This browser cannot read text aloud, but students using other browsers will hear it.
Extra cards
– optional. Cards without a pair are mixed into the right column and make the game harder.
