Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to register to make a spinner wheel?
No registration is needed. Choose the number of sectors, fill them in, add a title and publish: the wheel gets its own link that you can open on the classroom screen or send to students. The wheels you published from this browser appear on the My Wheels page, or in your account if you are signed in.
Can I put pictures on the wheel?
Yes. Each sector can show text, a picture or both, and has its own background and text colour. Pictures can be uploaded from your computer or added by link. Keep captions short: with many sectors the text is scaled down to fit, and a word or two reads best from the back of the room.
How do I show the wheel to the whole class?
Open the published wheel on the classroom computer and press the fullscreen button in the corner, so only the wheel and the Spin button are on screen. Spin with the button, the space bar or by dragging the wheel with the mouse or a finger. The ticking sound can be switched off with the speaker button.
