Tasks

Eight tasks on one episode

All eight are built on the same Peppa Pig episode: Daddy Pig brings a pumpkin home, the children scoop it out, carve a lantern and dress up for the party. Watching the clip once at the start makes every task after it easier.

The set moves from recognising to producing. First the words on their own – witch, werewolf, vampire, scoop, pumpkin – matched to pictures by ear. Then whole sentences to complete and statements to mark true or false. Then sixteen lines of the story to match to the right frame. Last, four sets of frames to retell the story from, and a spot-the-difference picture.

Levels: A1, and A2 for the sentence-matching and the retelling · Skills: listening, reading, speaking · Theme: Halloween, a pumpkin party
