What is inside the speaking worksheets collection?

The collection holds printable conversation question cards, currently fifty-five sets. Each set takes one everyday topic — daily routine, entertainment, the environment, travel and others — and turns it into a page of question cards you can cut out and hand round the class.

Are the speaking cards graded by level?

Yes. Most topics come in four versions, marked A1, A2, B1 and B2 in the file name. The questions stay on the same subject but change in length and structure, so a mixed-ability group can discuss one topic while every student works from questions they can actually answer.

How do I use conversation cards in a lesson?

Print one set, cut the cards and put them face down. Students take a card in turns and answer, then the group asks one follow-up question. In pairs, give each student half the cards so they interview each other. The same set also works as a speaking warm-up at the start of the lesson.

What format are the speaking worksheets in?

All of them are PDF, so the card layout stays exactly as designed when you print. They print well in black and white, which keeps copying cheap when you need a set for every pair in the class.
