A picture-based story-retell activity built around "The Leaf Thief." Here there's no word bank – students retell the story from the pictures alone, in their own words. It's the step up from the guided version: they choose the vocabulary, sequence the events and build the whole narrative themselves, so you can see what they can do independently. No prep to run it: open the page and go. Works in speech and language therapy and as classroom narrative support, and pairs with the word-supported version and the other Leaf Thief activities.
