An open speaking activity built around "The Leaf Thief." Students pick a prompt from the story and speak up – giving their own answer in their own words, not choosing from a list. It's built for oral expression, longer answers and confidence talking, so even quieter learners get a turn. No prep to run it: open the page and go. Works in speech and language therapy and as classroom speaking support, and pairs with the other Leaf Thief activities (vocabulary, comprehension, yes/no, sentence builder, who said it, choose the best reply, story retell).
