Winter is the season I enjoy the most. I always look forward to my winter break because I have plenty of free time to spend with my friends. When the snow starts falling, we build snowmen and race down hills on sleds. One of my favorite things is making snow angels — I lie on the ground and move my arms up and down. It's so much fun! We also love to have big snowball fights. We laugh, run, and play until we’re freezing. Then, we head inside to warm up with some hot chocolate.
Each winter, I visit my grandparents in the countryside. I help my grandpa clear the snow from the paths, and then my grandma and I bake cookies together and make some tea. We sit near the warm fireplace, chat, and enjoy the peaceful evening. Sometimes, my friends and I go ice skating — I’m actually pretty good at it! Later, my grandparents and I watch TV together and relax after a fun day.
Winter also brings wonderful holidays. My favourites are Christmas and New Year’s Day. I get to see my family and receive lots of presents — that makes the season even more special!
